We are proud to announce that Samson Parashina, a son of the Chyulu Hills in southern Kenya, has been named a winner of the Uncharted Global Safari Awards 2026. A U.N. Champion of the Earth and Chairman of the Board of Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust and Chyulu Hills Conservation Trust, Samson’s journey reflects the true essence of regenerative tourism.
Through his leadership at Campi ya Kanzi and Chyulu Lodge, and the work of MWCT, he has mobilized hundreds of Maasai in conservation, sustainability, and community empowerment.
This recognition places community-led conservation and African leadership firmly on the global stage.
