Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust owns two lodges: Campi ya Kanzi and Chyulu Wilderness Camp.
All profits from the lodges operation are for Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust. By choosing to have safari with us, not only you will immerse yourself in pristine wilderness, enwrapped in Maasai culture, but you will be part of genuine regenerative tourism, benefitting the indigenous community.
Chyulu Wilderness Camp (CWC), was created in partnership with Rosey Aventures and Le Rosey Foundation. This lodge is the first in Africa to be fossil fuel-free: 100% photovoltaic, with induction kitchens and electric vehicles. CWC is only for students and has room for 56 students in 14 quadruple tents and 6 to 12 teachers in 6 double tents. Cost per student per week, including internal flights: $4,900. We have special rates for Kenyan students.
Chyulu Club: within CWC, Chyulu Club operates when CWC has no students. It has room for 12 guests, in 3 twin tented cottages and 3 double tented cottages. It is the perfect base to explore the nearby Tsavo National Park, and have an excursion to Amboseli National Park.
Campi ya Kanzi: the first Gold-rated eco-lodge in Kenya, is our flagship. Nestled in the heart of the Chyulu Hills it can accommodate 16 guests in 4 twin tented cottages and 4 double tented cottages (of which 2 are suites).
All lodges are 100% photovoltaic and use EVs, including the first ever produced Rivian R1T Safari vehicle: come live the luxur safari of your dreams, with zero emissions!
The Tsavo Amboseli ecosystem in one of the last wilderness on the Planet. Kilimanjaro towers over the plains, with an incredible diversity of animals and birds.
Combining Chyulu Club and Campi ya Kanzi for a stay of 6 nights is the best choice to explore the immense ecosystem: it comes with FREE flights from and to Nairobi. Regardless of where you will stay, you will immerse yourself within a pristine and magnificent ecosystem. Chyulu Club and Campi ya Kanzi cost $1,250 per person per day, plus a $125 conservation fee, per person per day.
The conservation fee is earmarked to Wildlife Pays, a tourism payment for ecosystem services, where predated livestock is compensated to the Maasai community. A great tool to enhance coexistence with wildlife and address positively human wildlife conflict.
All proceeds of your stay benefit MWCT programs. And why not consider our CONSERVATION SAFARIS and experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be in the field with The Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust during your stay.
